LVS Vinyl Base Coat

The Liquid Vinyl Siding™ Coating System consists of two components: LVS Vinyl Base Coat and Liquid Vinyl Siding top coat containing the color. The LVS Vinyl Base Coat is a specialized primer developed specifically for use with the Liquid Vinyl top coat. It is the backbone of the system. Its coefficient of expansion matches that of the vinyl top coat, allowing both layers to expand and contract at the same rate. This compatibility is critical during significant temperature fluctuations to prevent peeling or delamination. Other primers may not be compatible with Liquid Vinyl Siding, which can lead to coating failure and degraded performance.

Formulated with powerful adhesives and vinyl activators, the LVS Vinyl Base Coat bonds with the vinyl top coat and permanently fuses the coating system to the substrate. This unique primer offers exceptional gripping ability, adhering to surfaces where regular paint often fails. While it is a critical component of the LVS system, the Base Coat can also be used with conventional paint to improve adhesion. Together, the LVS Vinyl Base Coat and Liquid Vinyl Siding create a long-lasting, permanent coating solution.
